The 2025 season races are here!

Dates for the 2025 season races have been released as a second draft and TTC are very pleased to announce that we have been allocated 5 racing dates for this year.

The club will kick off the season with races on Tuesday 7 January 2025 providing a warm up event to the Temora Pacers Cup. The Temora Cup has been confirmed as Saturday 11 January 2025. Our two feature events of the season will be closely followed by 1 race on 4 February 2025 and Tuesday 4 March. The season will close out with a race event on Tuesday 8 April 2025. Please mark these race dates on your calendar as we don’t want you to miss a single one!

The standardbred horses birthday has been amended to 1 January, so the racing “season” will be conducted from 1 January 2025 until 31 December 2025 and each subsequent calendar year. This has been done to improve the horses welfare and longevity by not beginning 2 year old racing until after 1 January. As the breeding season will remain the same foals are generally born from October to December and will actually be 2 years old before commencing races. This will allow the young horses more time to develop fully and be more mature.

We expect the 2025 Temora Pacers Cup to be run under the same format as in previous years with live music. Kids entertainment, jumping castles and face painting will be provided and included in the admission price so there will be no hidden extra costs. The admission prices are the same as last year at $10 adult and kids 16 and under free of charge. With the change of racing season, the new membership season will commence on 1 January 2025 and run until 31 December 2025. Membership is an excellent value option at just $15 per adult to become a member. A $15 membership entitles you to admission to all 5 races including the Temora Pacers Cup. With our Tuesday races having free entry for everyone, we are offering our members two free drink vouchers for the Temora Pacers Cup plus a free racebook. Our club encourages all supporters to purchase a membership for 2025.
