What do you like the best about the sport? I grew up in the sport and have been an enthusiast all my life. I enjoy the early morning training sessions with my horse and I also enjoy giving back to the community by volunteering.

Why should people join? It's a good nights entertainment and people would enjoy the atmosphere of our events.

What do you like the best about the sport? I first became involved through my Mum and Dad who were avid supporters of the trots in Temora. I love spending time with my extended family whom all enjoy the racing. I enjoy volunteering for organisations that my family are involved with and as John New is my father in law I have continued my interest with the trots.

Why should people join? People may be surprised at what a social event it is, as you don't have to be a racing enthusiast to enjoy our races.

What do you like best about the sport? I enjoy supporting my son Nic who is very interested in the horses, learning to train and drive at Ray Walkers stables. I find volunteering in our community satisfying.

Why should people join? For the friendship and camaraderie, trotting people make you feel very welcome.

What do you like best about the sport? I like training horses and the thrill of winning races. I have a soft spot for Champion Miss, she was good enough to win at Menangle Park.

Why should people join? To keep our great sport going. We need people who love our sport to support our events.

What do you like the best about the sport? I enjoy the friendship and the different people that I meet and interact with. I enjoy volunteering to help the community as I originally came from a small community at Tullibigeal. It's great to be able to meet for a beer and a yarn with people after an event.

Why should people join? People will find our committee easy to work with. The expectations are never beyond a person's capabilities.

Director Nic Horan

How long have you been a member? Altogether about 8 years.

What do you like best about the sport? I love working with standardbred horses and driving them. I really like the friendships I have made in the harness racing people.

Why should people join? The trotting game is very friendly and our committee all try to work together to help run the club.

What do you like best about the sport? I just love the atmosphere at the trots. I love racing my horses. A horse named Rakannaui got me involved in the early 1970s. My biggest thrill in racing was winning at Harold Park with Bobs Buddy. Good old Bob also won the Temora Cup, that was a great night for me.

Why should people join? To enjoy the excitement of racing under lights.
